Overview

FX Conver ("we", "our", "the app") is a free currency conversion app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is involved when you use FX Conver and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). The following data may be involved during normal app usage:

• Exchange rate data fetched from a third-party provider
• Aggregated, non-identifiable crash and diagnostic reports
• Advertising data collected by Google AdMob (see below)

Local Storage

To provide fast and reliable conversions, FX Conver stores the following data locally on your device:

• Exchange rates cache — latest rates for 140+ currencies
• Sync timestamp — time of the last rate update
• User preferences — selected currencies and app settings

This data never leaves your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Exchange Rate API

Live exchange rates are fetched from a third-party data provider. These requests do not include any personal information. Please refer to the provider's own privacy policy for details on their data handling.

Google AdMob & Advertising

FX Conver uses Google AdMob to display ads, which allows us to offer the app free of charge. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID / IDFA)
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• App usage and interaction data
• Device type, OS version, and language settings

Google's data collection is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings: Limit Ad Tracking on iOS, or Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android.

Third-Party Services

FX Conver integrates the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — advertising network (policies.google.com/privacy)
• Exchange Rate Data Provider — real-time currency data (no personal data is shared)

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use cookies or third-party analytics services beyond what is described above.

Children's Privacy

FX Conver is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Data Security

We do not transmit personal information to our own servers, which minimizes exposure to data breaches on our end. All locally stored data remains on your device. We encourage you to keep your device and operating system up to date.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Delete locally stored app data via your device settings
• Opt out of personalized advertising via your device ad settings
• Request information on how third-party SDKs handle your data
